MACRO SAND PHOTOGRAPHY!

Macro Photographer Gary Greenberg is not only a photographer but a scientist, author, and teacher who combines his passion for art and science by exploring the hidden dimensions of nature. He is taking our view of a grain of sand to a whole new level!       Some of us may have thought of ourselves as being as insignificant as a grain of sand on a beach or vast desert wasteland. However, God shows us even His smallest creations are unique and awesome. Viewed at a magnification of over 250 times, tiny grains of sand are shown to be delicate, colorful structures as unique as snowflakes.       Greenberg says his mission is to reveal the secret beauty of the microscopic landscape that makes up our everyday world. He says, "Art is a doorway through which we can more deeply embrace nature."       Hawaii-based Dr. Gary Greenberg reveals a beautiful, colorful tapestry of tiny shells, coral fragments and weathered crystals through his magnified photographs. Greenberg says, "It is incredible to think when you are walking on the beach you are standing on these tiny treasures."
