Civilians often wonder why the US Army Flag Patch is reversed. The answer is:
not all Army Flag Patches are reversed, but only those worn on the right
shoulder. The reason has to do with proper display of the flag.
The blue field of stars should always be in the highest position of honor.
When viewing the flag on a wall, the highest position of honor is the upper
left when displayed horizontally, and at the top (upper left) when displayed
vertically. When displayed on a "moving object" like a person or vehicle,
the highest position of honor is the front, and not the rear; so the
field of blue should be displayed to the front.
This is heartwarming! Here is a soldier stationed in Iraq, stationed in a big sand box.
He asked his wife to send him dirt (U.S. soil), fertilizer, and some grass seed so that
he can have the sweet aroma, and feel the grass grow beneath his feet. When the men
of the squadron have a mission that they are going on, they take turns walking
through the grass and the American soil -- just to bring them good luck.
If you will notice, he is even cutting the grass with a pair of a scissors...

The following was taken in Afghanistan of a helo Keystone CH-47 Chinook. The pilot is a
PA Guard, Larry Murphy, who flies EMS choppers in civilian life. This is an expert job -
setting the end of a chopper down on the roof top of a shack on a steep mountain cliff and
holding it there while soldiers load prisoners in the rear! Amazing! God Bless Our Military!
Following is an awesome paint job! This very special Mi-24 helicopter is presently flying
in Afghanistan, where it is no doubt causing quite a stir. God Bless the U.S.A.
Following is a statue made by the Iraqi artist Kalat, who for years was hired
by Saddam Hussein to make many bronze busts of Saddam. He was commissioned
by America and melted 2 of the fallen bronze Saddam statues. He then made a
memorial statue dedicated to American soldiers and their fallen comrades.
An Iraqi girl gives a soldier comfort as he mourns his comrade in arms. This
is on display outside the palace that's now home to the 4th Infantry division.
Later it will be shipped to the Memorial Museum in Fort Hood, Texas. USA
Sometimes in our everyday lives we tend to forget what's going on elsewhere in the world
and that the brave men and women of the service are just like you and me. They have family
and friends back home who love them very much and are praying for their safe return.

Say a prayer for everyone in Iraq. This man is walking the World for Peace. He's
walking around the world -- via e-mail! Pass it on so he can get there!
GOD Bless Our Troops!
