MAINE COON CATS!

Meet The Maine Coon Cat. It is the largest domestic breed of cats. A normal domestic short hair cat is fun-sized, weighing less than 10lb and not more than 10 inches in height. The average Maine Coon, at 18 pounds and 10-16 inches tall, positively dwarfs a normal cat in comparison.       These giant cats are natives of Maine, and are known for their gentle, good-natured, intelligent and 'dog-like' personalities. It is because of these traits that Maine Coons adapt well to just about any home.       Breeders of Maine Coon felines are held to a very strict guideline. This is so that there are no short hair Maine Coon cats. The long and beautiful fur is what makes the Maine Coon such a gorgeous and desirable cat.
