      In Baku, Azerbaijan, the art of carpet weaving is one of the most important aspects of culture and history. So naturally, the country is home to a museum dedicated to carpets and rugs. The museum was founded in 1967. In 2014 it moved to a new building in the seaside park. The current museum building, designed by the Austrian architect Franz Janz, is intended to resemble a massive rolled carpet.
      The Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum is home to the largest collection of Azerbaijani carpets in the world, some dating back to the 17th century, as well as archaeological artifacts and folk crafts, including ceramics, oil lamps, embroidery and jewelry. It also serves as a research site, where the art of traditional carpet weaving and its modern legacy are studied and discussed.

      The Ribbon Wedding Chapel is a wedding venue in Onomichi, Hiroshima, Japan, with a panoramic view of Seto Inland Sea. The building, which is an element of the Bella Vista Spa & Marina Onomichi resort, was designed by Hiroshi Nakamura and NAP. The ceremonial space seats 80.

      The Science And Technology Museum, Wuhan, China occupies an area of 30,600 square meters. The exhibition area covers an area of more than 20,000 square meters and features over 600 exhibits. The new museum includes eight large- scale indoor exhibition halls, such as the universe, life, and water exhibition halls, and one 1,000-square-meter outdoor exhibition area, which is located on the roof. Among the exhibition halls, the water and light exhibition halls are one of a kind in China.
      The new museum is China's largest science and technology museum converted from an existing structure. The original Wuhan Port design, which resembled a boat and made this site a local landmark, was preserved. The design reflects concepts such as environmental protection and scientific development.

      Geisel Library designed by William Pereira is the main library building of the University of California, San Diego. It is named in honor of Audrey and Theodor Seuss Geisel, better known as children's author Dr. Seuss. It houses over 7 million volumes to support the educational and research objectives of the university.
      It also contains the Mandeville Special Collections and Archives, which houses the Dr. Seuss Collection, which contains original drawings, sketches, proofs, notebooks, manuscript drafts, books, audio and videotapes, photographs, and memorabilia. The approximately 8,500 items in the collection document the full range of Dr. Seuss's creative achievements, beginning in 1919 with his high school activities and ending with his death in 1991.

      The Port House is an architectural jewel by Zaha Hadid Architects firm in 2016 It's undoubtedly one of the most amazing and high-profile eye-catchers of the Antwerp skyline. It is the head office of Port of Antwerp-Bruges, and the workplace for 500 of its staff.

      Duinhotel Tien Torens is hidden in the highest dune of Zoutelande. It is unique in Zoutelande, Zeeland and the Netherlands that you literally spend the night in the dunes. Due to the sunken location, the terraces of the lodges offer optimal privacy and a beautiful view over the dunes, sea and land!       Shoreditch Hotel in London by AQSO Arquitectos is an innovative urban resort. According to the AQSO architects studio, 'This junction is not only significant from the morphology of the urban fabric but also for becoming a regeneration catalyst in this old industrial area influenced by the City of London that has experienced an important creative and artistic boom.'

      Les Choux de Creteil ('The Cabbages of Creteil'), is a grouping of ten housing towers in Creteil, France. The group of ten cylindrical buildings are each 15 stories in height. The project known as Les Choux is also called 'ears of corn', due to the unusual shape of their balconies. The buildings were designed by architect Gerard Grandval, and were completed in 1974.

      Wenzhou Grand Theatre offers a 1550-seat Opera house, a 650-seat Concert hall, a 200-seat small theatre, restaurants and shops, and the National Theatre also greets visitors with a generous outdoor plaza. This is one of the best theatres in China, and its architecture is truly something to behold. Designed by Canadian Carlos Ott.

      Hallgrimskirkja is a Lutheran parish church in Reykjavik, Iceland At 244 ft tall, it is the largest church in Iceland and among the tallest structures in the country. Known for its distinctively curved spire and side wings, it has been described as having become an important symbol for Iceland's national identity since its completion in 1986. The church is named after the Icelandic poet and cleric Hallgrimur Petursson (1614-1674), author of the Passion Hymns.

      The Embassy of the United States of America in London is the diplomatic mission of the United States in the United Kingdom. It is located in Nine Elms and is the largest American embassy in Western Europe and the focal point for events relating to the United States held in the United Kingdom.

      The completed St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church serves as Calatrava's latest contribution to the World Trade Center Memorial site as well as to the greater community of Lower Manhattan.

      St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and Shrine, on the other hand, represents strength, resilience, and light. "Architecture can have an intrinsic symbolic value, which is not written or expressed in a specific way but in an abstract and synthetic manner, sending a message and thus leaving a lasting legacy," Calatrava said.

      Inside, St. Nicholas holds a narthex, porticus, nave, iconostasis, and sanctuary; within the dome, images of 20 prophets appear between 40 windows and 40 ribs—the same number of ribs in Saint Nicholas. "This Shrine will be a place for everyone who comes to the Sacred Ground at the World Trade Center, a place for them to imagine and envision a world where mercy is inevitable, reconciliation is desirable, and forgiveness is possible," His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, said in a statement. The church sits within the World Trade Center campus, about 25 feet above street level, just a bit taller than the nearby canopy of the World Trade Center Memorial oak trees.
